Hotline Counselling

You can access our hotline without registration or prior appointment and receive counselling (also anonymously). A counsellor will be available to clarify your concerns during an initial consultation, provide first support, and—if you wish—schedule follow-up sessions.

There may be waiting times. Counselling is non-binding and free of charge.

Counselling – by appointment

For a personal conversation with your counsellor.

Your secure written contact with our counselling team and for scheduling appointments.

Whether a brief exchange with different counsellors or scheduled sessions with your personal counsellor—group sessions are also possible by prior arrangement.

Person-to-person – no AI

For a personal conversation with your counsellor. Group sessions are also possible by appointment.

Telephone Counselling

During a scheduled appointment, you can discuss your concerns or questions with your personal counsellor—without time pressure. You can choose between legal or psychological counselling.

Appointments:
You can book an appointment via email counselling at: https://c02.aygonet.org/themis-vertrauensstelle or by phone at: +49 30 23 63 20 210  (Mon–Thu, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm)

Email Counselling

Email counselling allows you to communicate at your own pace and put your concerns into writing in a calm and structured way. You decide what and how much you want to share. This format also allows for longer-term support. The communication is encrypted and therefore significantly more secure than standard email. You can also schedule appointments for chat, video, phone, or in-person counselling via this service.

Chat Counselling

Person-to-person – no AI: You can communicate in writing with our psychological and legal advisors—confidential and personal, like a one-on-one conversation. You have two options:

Open chat: Join the chat hotline during available times https://c02.aygonet.org/themis-vertrauensstelle/Index/Chats

Scheduled chat: Book an appointment via email counselling or choose a time slot from the open consultation hours https://c02.aygonet.org/themis-vertrauensstelle

Note: Scheduled chats require registration with your username and password.

Video Counselling

In video counselling, you can speak with your counsellor in a one-on-one session in real time via a secure video platform.

Technical requirements:

  • No installation required
  • Device with camera, microphone, and speakers (e.g. computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet)

How to participate:
Log in to the Themis online counselling platform using your username and password. You can share your preferred appointment times via email counselling. We will do our best to accommodate them. You will receive the access link in your secure inbox before the appointment: https://c02.aygonet.org/themis-vertrauensstelle

How counselling works

Our services are available to affected individuals, witnesses, confidential advisors, HR / works council members and employers in the cultural and media sectors.

Who we support

If you are an affected person, witness, confidential advisor, HR/works council member, or employer seeking advice on sexual harassment in the workplace, you are in the right place. Our team provides legal counselling based on the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) and psychological counselling.

Legal counselling

We listen carefully to your situation and explain possible legal options. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision about how to proceed—with our support. For example, you may authorise us to file a complaint under the AGG on your behalf. If you wish to pursue criminal, civil, or social law claims, we will refer you to the appropriate bodies.

Psychological counselling

Our psychological counselling focuses on your needs and well-being. Our psychologists listen and support you in coping with the situation and making decisions. We aim to build a trusting relationship and help stabilise and empower you. We offer techniques for grounding, setting boundaries, and relaxation, and inform you about possible impacts of sexual harassment. If needed, we refer you to further psychosocial or therapeutic services. You can receive up to ten counselling sessions.

Our mandate is limited to cases of sexual harassment in the workplace. Therefore, we can only provide counselling in such cases, in accordance with our statutes. For more information about the AGG and forms of discrimination, see: Grundlegendes zu sexueller Belästigung und Diskriminierung.
